Fruity orange or orange-fruity – who cares, it’s definitely got the naturally refreshing taste of summer.

The fruity taste of YO orange fruit syrup lulls us into daydreams of the south. And that’s hardly surprising, since oranges are – generally speaking – grown in Brazil, Mexico and the USA.

But it was the Chinese who were originally responsible for cultivating oranges – this enchanting fruit is in actual fact a cross between tangerines and grapefruit. It is assumed that the Spanish brought oranges to Europe from Arabia. Apparently it was Christoph Columbus who was ultimately responsible for bringing oranges to America: On his second round-the-world voyage, legend has it that he took orange pips to the “New World”.

By the way: The colour orange is named after the fruit, and not the other way around!
